keeping myself away from my homework
Much yay-ness hath transpired.
Wednesday my boss closed up with me and traffic was dead so we just hung out the whole time.
Thursday, my TB skin test result was negative. I turned in all the school district’s necessary paperwork and was kind of left in the air when i was going to start my internship.
Friday, I got a call from the school tv station supervisor telling me to report to work asap. Much internal yay-ness transpired. Oh my, what a day. I learned that the supervisor is a crazy woman. Not the harmful to others type but more like the chatty im-gonna-pause-here-for-dramatic-effect-how-will-you-react type. That was a weird orientation. I was given the task of completing a script for a voice-over segment. However, having never done one before and the crazy lady having started it, it turned out to be complete crap. oh well, that’s what the internship is for. I want to learn much even though i am too old to complete the training. That was the morning.
After lunch, i sat there and watched the two producers work. One was tagging media for internet uploading and the other was editing audio for a segment. It was pretty sweet. That evening, i got to go out on an assignment and film on location. It was pretty bad ass even though all the other people on that assignment were bored out of their skulls. That was pretty hilarious. All in all it was a great first day and i am extremely excited to do the rest of my hours.
The kinda weird thing is they keep saying they are gonna help me knock out my hours pretty quickly, which is cool and all but i dont want it to end so fast. I’ll be sad when my last day pops up. I know it will be far sooner than i would want.
Saturday i worked and slacked off saying i would do my homework on Sunday.
Sunday, i started my homework. Went shopping for clothes and food. Ate dinner. Now I’m updating my tumblr instead of doing my homework. le sigh.
Access is boring. There’s no tutoring for Javascript (irony). And I dont know what to say about After Effects class. I might stop going to algebra class so i can do some homework. who knows.
I have to do 5 weeks of this schedule. Then its spring break. Then its 7 more weeks.
im super happy but worried i might have a nervous breakdown. lol
