Midweek Man-up Madness
Monday I was not informed by my internship-holders that there would be no staff meeting so I got an early start for nothing. Oh well.
I drove around, did some banking. Then I realized I had nothing else to do so I hung out at the incubator till it was time for work and even then I got there 20 minutes early.
Monday was a very long day.
Tuesday I went to an underattended math class. Reported to my internship at 1pm. Very kewl day. They set up a work station for me and I helped out with an in-studio promo shoot.
I feel like I’m running in molasses at the internship because while yes I need to learn how to do ENGs I feel like I’m a total idiot because while I do have editing skills I learned them on Adobe. So I have to sit there and learn Final Cut.
Its frustrating to be hindered like this. Like my potential is halted because of an application. Ugh!
Anyways, today(Wednesday) I learned I need a lot of work on javascript and I should start after effects. Work was shorter than anticipated tho the talkative old man was there and wouldn’t let me read my book even though he had homework to do. But he left early and I got pretty far into the read.
Picked up some chick-fil-a for dinner and wasted my night watching tv
Tomorrow, more math and internship. Afterwards I will tackle my homework.
Also, I reduced my hours at work so I can do homework more productively on the weekends. Must tighten the budget. Its gonna hurt.
